OUR STORY

The Lobos brand was founded in 2018 by siblings - Monika and Patryk, who gained knowledge about design and fashion business at esteemed institutions: the School of Artistic Clothing Design in Krakow, Instituto Marangoni and Instituto Secoli in Milan, as well as Central Saint Martins in London.


Monika and Patryk combine the craft of handbag making with an artistic dimension. Each model is a small work of art for them. They care about its quality and originality, further enriching it with an unconventional color palette. They also use innovative techniques, such as hand painting and graphic design, which further emphasize the uniqueness of each project.


Our approach to creating handbags is unique. First, we adhere to the principle of "1 handbag, 2 styles." Second, we invite artists to collaborate, whose task is to personalize our products. This way, we create items that possess exceptional value.

The handbags are made in Poland in a specialized workshop with many years of tradition, which - like the brand's owners - places great importance on details. Each Lobos product is perfectly crafted.


Luxury items require the best quality components. Therefore, Lobos handbags are made from carefully selected leathers from Italy and metal accessories.

CONSCIOUS CHOICE - NATURAL LEATHER

All Lobos products are made from natural leather certified by the German government’s Blauer Engel. This guarantees ecological quality and production with the aim of minimizing impact on life and the environment during production, recycling, and disposal stages. Our supplier was the first in the world to obtain the USDA Biobased certification, which measures the renewability of the material.

Natural leather comes from existing and renewable agricultural resources. It is the best material for us to create products. Leathers labeled as “eco-friendly” or “vegan” contain a significant amount of plastic (studies show about 50% of the composition). Lobos creates bags from materials that are friendly to the environment and health.


ECOLOGICAL PACKAGING

We pack your orders ecologically, without using plastic.

Each bag is packed in a linen-cotton pouch. Linen and cotton are natural, biodegradable plant-based materials. Linen, as a fabric component, is characterized by low water and energy consumption during cultivation and processing, making it one of the more ecological textile materials. Cotton, on the other hand, provides softness and durability. The combination of these fibers creates an environmentally friendly material.

Tags are made from 100% recycled paper, meeting the most stringent environmental requirements.

Meanwhile, the boxes are made of 70% recycled paper and can be recycled again.


LOCAL PRODUCTION

Lobos bags are sewn in Poland - by hand, in a family-run workshop with many years of tradition. To avoid overproduction of models, we create small collections. As part of the “sample sale,” even prototypes end up in your hands.
