OUR STORY
Lobos was founded in 2018 by siblings Monika and Patryk, graduates of renowned art and business universities. Their lives constantly circulate between unusual cities, and at the same time important markets for Lobos - their hometown of Krakow, Warsaw, Milan and London. Local product, global idea.
How did it start?
During the show of our collection of ready-to-wear coats, we noticed that the audience's attention was drawn to bold leather pockets. Customers asked if it was possible to detach them and use them as small bags. This is how we discovered the idea of personalized handbags, which became the main point of our "1 handbag, 2 styles" philosophy. We devoted the following months to refining the concept, according to which a classic handbag can be quickly turned into a work of art - say Monika and Patryk.
Our mission
We believe that our approach to handbag making is unique. We have invited a wide range of multidisciplinary creators to our team, whose task is to personalize your products and make them look absolutely unique. Thanks to this, we can create items that have a unique value.
Luxurious items require the best quality components. That is why we have established cooperation with carefully selected leather suppliers from Italy, who ensure not only the highest quality, but also transparency of the production process.
Handbags are made in Poland, we cooperate with a highly specialized plant with many years of tradition, which pays great attention to detail - we are extremely proud of it.
About Monika and Patryk
Monika has always been the creative force of the brand, having studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. Patryk complements the team with his knowledge of running a business, he is a graduate of the Cracow University of Economics. They both gained invaluable experience working for large international brands, such as Boss or Evy Minge's Femestage. Together, they create a harmonious family team that perfectly understands the meaning of the word cooperation.
We spent a total of 8 years learning fashion design at prestigious universities - the School of Artistic Fashion Design in Krakow, Instituto Marangoni and Instituto Secoli in Milan and Central Saint Martins in London.
In 2018, we felt ready to breathe life into our ideas by creating the Lobos brand. The combination of art and craft gives sense to our activities, which aim to combine art and beautiful objects. We implement them by inviting talented artists to cooperate, such as Elena Ciuprina - an internationally recognized fashion illustrator.
